FRANKLIN: Joseph L. Pulsone

Joseph L. Pulsone 93, of Franklin, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, Friday June 13, 2025 following an illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan M. (DiLegge) Pulsone, who died in 1995.

Born November 14, 1931 in Franklin, a son of the late Nicholas and Mary Pulsone, he was a lifelong resident of Franklin. Joe was educated in Franklin and was a 1950 graduate of Franklin High School.

A proud American, he joined the United States Navy on May 14, 1952, serving during the Korean War, and stationed aboard the USS Grand Canyon. He attained the rank of FP2, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Navy Occupation Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged in May 1956.

Joe was a retired security officer for the Raytheon Company.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the Franklin Senior Center.

Joe is survived by two daughters; Denise J. Perdue of Florida and Donna M. Kelly and her husband Ivan of Franklin, grandchildren, Michelle Shayer, Joseph Larson, Stacey Schiappucci, Kelly Schiappucci, Wendi Gentilella, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

He was the brother of the late Roy Ciotti, Margaret Brescia, Sarah Anderson, Rose Pisani, Helen Cugno and Nicholas Pulsone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Friday June 20th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. at 12 Noon.

Burial with military honors will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.

Calling hours are Thursday June 19th, from 4-7PM.
